Built in the seventeenth century and sensitively modernised, the non-smoking King's Head Inn offers a perfect blend of old world character and modern comfort. Tony prepares each dish to order, most of the menu is gluten free, using only the finest ingredients bought from trusted local suppliers, and offers a fresh and spontaneous lunch menu and a relaxing and sophisticated dinner menu featuring 'New World Cuisine'

An imaginative wine list has been carefully selected to complement the food and there is also a range of Inn wines available by the glass to make every visit an occasion to remember.

Accommodation.

Our cottage style en-suite bedrooms have been furnished to offer the same blend of traditional character and modern comfort. Each room, some with their own lounge, is individually decorated and complete with colour television, central heating, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and trouser press.

The Barn Retreat.

For sheer unashamed luxury, the Barn Retreat, adjoining the gardens, provides additional comfort and privacy in a superbly decorated self-contained apartment. As well as en-suite bedroom, complete with four-poster bed, it has a small comfortable sitting room and is decorated and furnished throughout with the same eye for blending modern comfort with old-world charm.
