Kings Arms Hotel
Welcome to the Kings Arms Hotel, set amidst the splendour of Malmesbury in Wiltshire, one of the most beautiful locations and reputedly the oldest borough in the entire country. The Black & White exterior of the Hotel stands out very clearly in Malmesbury's main street. Since Elizabethan times, this famous coaching inn has been a place to rest and relax after a long day's travel. Long gone are the days of Royal Mail horse drawn carriages, ferrying the country's post from London to Bristol, but still the Kings Arms Hotel awaits the weary traveller.

The Hotel has earned many Accolades and Awards, however, you will more than appreciate the personal attention given to all our guest's.Hilary is now a Member of the British Institute of Innkeeping. The Hotel has gained entry into the Good Pub Guide 2006, for the 10th year, and have gained 4 Diamond English & North Wiltshire Tourist Board Grading.

We hope we will soon have the pleasure of welcoming you to the Kings Arms Hotel, to request a Brochure please E-Mail , Telephone or Fax us, and we will forward a copy. When you are able to make a Booking we will be happy to advise you of availability. A Deposit or Credit Card guarantee will secure your reservation.

Hilary hails from Liverpool. In her hometown she was a Secondary School Teacher of Art and Geography, and a Craft Trainer on a Youth Opportunities Scheme with the Unemployed. Although her main hobby has alway's been Cooking, you will now quite often find her at the Computer in Reception, self-taught, this gives her great enjoyment & fascination. The Kings Arms Hotel has won many accolades and Awards, not only for Food, but also for Staff Service, Marketing and even magnificent Hanging Baskets and Flowers in the Summer Month's.

A fabulous midweek break not improved by a pretty shabby hotel experience!!! Pubic hairs in the shower, and a revolting sticky toilet, made my cast iron stomach turn. No Complaints about the evening meal, although the image of the standard of hygeine did worry me slightly. Rancid butter served at breakfast and gone off milk added up to a disappointing experience. When I complained about the cleanliness of the room, the receptionist said he'd "get Doreen on to it" However on leaving our room that morning "Doreen" asked if we would be wanting our room "serviced " that day as we were "overnighters". This obviously demonstrates that rooms aren't cleaned daily! Surely a hotel that charges £100 a night can be expected to "service" rooms every day? The towels were slightly grey, and the shower gel, and shampoo sachets were mean, with the tiniest bar of soap ever. Mamesbury is a lovely little town, and the pubs offer good food, at reasonable prices. I reccommend go to one of them and not the
