The Kings Arms Hotel is an attractive 17th century former Posting Inn, situated in the small market town of Kirkby Stephen, in the upper Eden Valley. It is in an area of natural beauty, lying mid-way between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales and yet is only a few minutes drive from the M6.
The hotel retains its ancient charm and many fascinating historical features such as a powder closet, pictured right, where gentlemen used to powder their wigs! This 300-year-old hotel has been carefully modernised to retain its character and prides itself on its personal attention to every requirement.
