Ivy House Bed And Breakfast
You'll find us conveniently situated on the A673 (which runs parallel with the main A6). A 10-minute walk will take you to the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, and a 5-minute drive will take you to nearby Rivington (end of Pennine Chain). We are 3 miles south of 'the historic market town' of Chorley, where you can visit Astley Hall.

Whether you're here on business, visiting relatives, taking part in an organised event or simply just passing through, our establishment offers all the comforts of home in a friendly, relaxed environment.

Eating out isn't a problem either, you will find a couple of local pubs which serve bar snacks or a short drive will take you to various restaurants. Alternatively, there are various take away food shops in the village, or you could even rustle up a meal yourself in the fully equipped kitchenette/diner provided for guests use!!

However you choose to dine, you can later relax in one of the local, friendly pubs or, if you wish, unwind here in the relaxed surroundings, either in the lounge provided for guests use or, during the warmer months, outside in the splendour of the gardens.

My wife, daughter and I stayed 3 nights as I was competing in the UK Ironman triathlon in Bolton. Lesley the owner could not have been more hospitable, helpful and flexible making our stay perfect. My wife and daughter shared a twin room in the adjoining house and I took the single room as I was trying to rest in avance of the competition. The rooms were clean, linen fresh and bathrooms spot on. The kitchen area was very handy. The warmest of a good lancashire welcome awaits.
