"We wanted somewhere close to the centre of Newquay for the restaurants and nightlife, somewhere friendly and informal, but still maintaining privacy. Plenty hot water and warm radiators. We really enjoyed our stay, having a good hotel makes all the difference. Breakfast was fantastic, plates were hot, breakfast freshly cooked and still sizzling on the plate, set us up for the rest of the day. Of course last but not least, our hosts made us feel more than welcome, very friendly without being overpowering

"We would recommed the Tregella Hotel to anyone who wants to visit the area. We found it to be a friendly, clean and well managed hotel. The bedroom and bed linen was of a good standard and the room was very spacious, with good furniture and tastefully decorated and there was always plenty of hot-water for a shower. The food was superb with plenty of it, and very hot. As our plane left early, the owners cooked our breakfast before we left. Which was much appreciated. The proprieters and their family were helpful and aimed to make all visitors very welcome. The hotel has one of the best views of the bay and a sea view room was spectacular for the scenery."

"The hotel is situated right in Newquay within walking distance of the shops and bars. The view of the beach and house on the rock is beautiful. The owners were very friendly and made the stay enjoyable. It was nice to stay somewhere where little finishing touches mattered."

We really enjoyed our stay at Tregella and found Chris to be a very friendly and helpful person parking can be a problem by the hotel at peak periods although local parking lots are only £1 per night but even on the bank holiday weekend Chris was able to get us parked for free right outside the hotel once you are parked, there is no charge and can stay for as long as you like with no restriction
