The sunny south-facing terrace with its summer flowers is a lovely place to read, relax and watch the world go by against the backdrop of Sidmouth's dramatic red cliffs, often compared to the Italian Riviera.

Merely a short stroll away is the pictureque Regency town and those with cars have an abundance of historic towns, ancient villages, lush countryside and heritage coastline to explore.

The Hotel Elizabeth is delightfully appointed and its comfortable atmosphere is enhanced by its superb location on Sidmouth Esplanade. Each of our 28 en-suite rooms has a sea view. Some have balconies with breathtaking views of the Heritage Coastline and all are attractively furnished. Being non-smoking throughout we can guarantee you fresh, clean, seaside air!

Good food is an essential ingredient for an enjoyable holiday. Our excellent home cooked meals and tempting desserts use only the best of the fresh, local produce and are enhanced by a wine list to suit all meals and occasions. Special diets and vegetarian meals can be made available by arrangement.

Each evening, after dinner, we invite you to relax in the lounge with coffee and mints. Here you will find a range of drinks available at the residents' private bar.

The Hotel Elizabeth is a Victorian building, which means that the structure of the building does present some physical barriers to accessibility. We understand that every customer has different needs and we aim to make our facilities available and accessible equally within the confines our building. In instances where this is not possible, we will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative.
