Holmecroft
Holmecroft , a detached Westmorland style house built in 1926, nestles at the foot of the Howgill Fells on the edge of Sedbergh, a quaint old market town situated within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Twixt Lakes and Dales.

Sedbergh is a great centre to navigate to all points of the Lakes and Dales and of course the renowned Howgill Fells, Wainwright's "Sleeping Elephants", which serve as a dramatic backdrop to the town

We offer friendly hospitality in bright comfortable accommodation with a twin, a double and a single room available, each with views of the surrounding fells.

All guests are welcomed into our home with tea/coffee, including homemade cake, on arrival.

Our garden is stocked with many interesting plants and provides much pleasure for our guests.

We regret we do not take dogs in the house.

They were very warm & welcoming. The home was very clean & attractive. They didn't give us a key - this proved to be a bit of a problem. Also there wasn't an ensuite - we had to cross a landing (with steps in between), and then realised that it was the only bathroom (they also used it) which had obvious difficulties.
