Holl Lodge, built in 1854, is one of the oldest houses in Windermere. It is situated just off the main road in a quiet position, close to shops, restaurants, buses and the train station. We are about one mile from Lake Windermere.
The lakes and fells are easily reached by foot, car or public transport.
Anne and Barry Mott offer a personal and friendly service.
Breakfast is served in our comfortable dining room. It includes fruit, cereals, local yoghurt and a full English breakfast, that will keep you going most of the day!! A vegetarian option is also offered. Special diets can be catered for with prior notice. Substantial packed lunches are also available on request.
Holly Lodge has full central heating, a comfortable lounge with a piano, games (no T.V!) and an open fire on cooler evenings. Just the thing to relax in front of, after a full days walking.
All nine of our en-suite rooms are individualyy decorated, with a refreshment tray, colour televisions and hairdryers. Cots and High chairs are available .Some of the rooms have fell views.
We have parking for seven cars and free parking in our quiet road.We also have drying facilites and safe storage for bicycles.
We request that rooms are vacated by 10.00am but luggage may be stored safely for collection later.
We appreciate arrivals before 1.00pm or after 6.00pm wherever possible.

BY CAR:
Leave A591 in Windermere by the second turning left after the Tourist Information centre (Elleray Road). Turn right into College Road, jst past the Grey Walls Inn.We are at the bottom of College on the right.
BY TRAIN:
Turn left out of the station and walk past Tourist Information centre. Cross over raod infront of Lakes Hotel into HIgh Street. Follw road down to crossroads. Go stariaght across into College Road.
