Situated just a few miles from the ancient City of Chester. This family run Historic Manor House, dates from the thirteenth century. Situated in a quiet green valley. Furnished mainly with antiques, incorporating all the modern requirements of today, including free wireless internet access in the bedrooms. There are low beams, oak panelled doors and log fires when necessary. Local and home produce are used in traditional menus, dinner served at 20:00 hrs.
A fixed menu priced at GBP 30.00 per person must be pre-booked at least 24 hours in advance to avoid disappointment. The house is licensed. The meals are served in the dining room overlooking the garden and fields. Cooked complimentary breakfasts are served 07:30 to 09:00 hrs Monday to Saturday and 08:00 hrs to 09:30 hrs Sundays. Close to Chester 7 miles, Wrexham 16, Manchester 38, Liverpool 25. There is off road free parking.
Local interests are the Roman walled city of Chester with its race course, Beeston Castle, Tatton Park, Oulton Park motor racing ciruit, Ness Gardens, Chester Zoo, Chomondeley Castle, Cheshire Oaks, Lever and Walker Art Galleries. There are seven golf courses within a five mile radius. Nearby are several well known walks including the Sandstone Trail and the Shropshire Union Canal.
