On the quay there is a statue of King William III who, as Prince William of Orange, who first set foot in Britain on 5th November 1688. The nearby Berry Head Country Park and Napoleonic Fort is a site of special scientific interest. With lovely walks along coastal paths to the lighthouse. Fishing, Sailing, Scuba Diving, Swimming and Sunbathing are all right on our doorstep.
