Grendon is recognised as one of Buxton's finest family residences, built in the Edwardian period the house has an ambience of beauty and tranquility as soon as you step inside.

We have achieved Visit Britains highest accolade of a Gold award for our exceptional standards, warmth of welcome and hospitality. Additionally Grendon achieved the Silver award position in East midlands enjoy excellence awards for best bed and breakfast 2010.

We offer 5 generous size bedrooms, each with a pristine en suite and large bath towels, magnifying mirrors and luxury toiletries.
The Duchess 4 Poster suite is particularly luxurious and spacious, a stunning draped mahogany bed with such a comfortable mattress which guests never fail to mention! We also offer a 'Celebration Package' should you wish to impress the partner in your life. Full details on our website. We have been told by one of our assessing inspectors that this room is not matched by any other he has seen in a B&B facility, wow that's praise indeed!

The Devonshire room has a beautiful antique wardrobe,comfy chairs, windows in 2 directions and again a most comfortable king size bed.

The Cavendish room can be a twin or super king, a lovely room at the rear of the house.
On the floor above are Grinlow and Rookery, again spacious with soft seating and most comfortable beds.
All bedrooms have ample radiators for a cosy stay, sette or armchairs, fitted carpets, generous tea/coffee making facilities plus guest fridge, TV's, DVD's, hairdryers, bedroom 'browsers' to help plan your excursions, books and magazines.
WIRELESS BROADBAND INTERNET ACCESS available to all our guest bedrooms free of charge.

Food is an integral part of a visit to Grendon, home made breakfast delights and a large variety of cooked breakfasts are the winner of the prestigious Breakfast award. Dinner is available by prior arrangement, additionally there is a wide variety of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets within 1 mile.

Buxton is accessible by air and rail from Manchester, approx 1 hour travelling time.
The town is about 30 minutes drive from M6 junction 17.
Grendon is located just off the A53 to the west of the centre, a 15 minute stroll through leafy gardens will bring you to to the town's shopping and restaurant area. We have hassle free parking.

Within Buxton the Opera House theatre hosts superb plays and musical events with an ever changing programme. Pooles cavern is a thrilling underground adventure, whilst above is Go Ape, the high wire adventure facility. Further afield is Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and many other historical sites.
