Built in 1866, the Grange Hotel is a traditional, family-run hotel located in the attractive Edwardian coastal village of Grange-over-Sands in the beautiful south Lakes area. Described by noted American travel writer, Bill Bryson, as one of his top 6 favourite spots in the UK, Grange is an idyllic spot where the discerning traveller comes to escape from the bustling crowds, whilst still remaining close to the majority of the Lake District`s tourist attractions

OUR LOVELY SETTING
Set in well-maintained private gardens with superb panoramic Bay views from the terraces, the hotel has been recently fully refurbished and the stylish décor reflects the neo-classical Italianate style of the architecture. Each of the 50 well-appointed bedrooms offers en-suite facilities and either Bay or Woodland views.

THE LEISURE FACILITIES
The Leisure Suite has a spacious heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, spa bath, gymnasium and Beauty Salon as well as a fast-tan solarium.

We believe that good food is such an important part of your short break, and that`s why our Chefs use fresh local produce to create a range of delicious dishes to tantalise the palate and to suit every individual dietary requirement. The 5-course table d`hote menu, served in the beautifully-appointed Carriages Restaurant, offers guests the opportunity to experience quality cuisine and fine wines combined with excellent service. For those with a smaller appetite, our Lounge Menu offers something for everyone.

We are lucky to have some of England`s finest stately homes and gardens within 10 minutes drive of the Hotel. These include Sizergh Castle, Levens Hall (with Topiary Gardens) and Holker Hall. The Beatrix Potter Exhibition, the Wildlife Park and the Aquarium of the Lakes are just a few of the other delightful attractions to entertain visitors of all ages. HOW TO GET HERE
We are so easy to get to whether you are travelling from the North or South, by road or rail.

BY ROAD:-
From Junction 36 M6, follow the A590 to Grange. We are directly opposite Grange Railway Station.

BY RAIL:-
The hotel is directly opposite Grange Railway Station, which enjoys a regular service with direct links from the north and south, including Manchester (including the airport)as well as Glasgow, Aberdeen and Preston.
