Grange Farm
Grange Farm is a family run dairy and arable farm which forms part of the Castle Howard estate. The farm's 500 acres are mainly to the east of the farmstead, but also extend to the North and South of Bulmer village in the Beautiful Howardian countryside, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

You are welcome to stroll around the local footpaths, many of which are a haven for wildlife. The farm has easy access to the historic City of York, the East Coast and the North Yorkshire Moors. Many ruined abbeys and castles are within a short drive, as are the friendly market towns Malton, Pickering and Helmsley. For the young at heart Flamingo Land, a Zoo and theme park, is close by.

As there are miles of open countryside and woodlands criss crossed by public footpaths and bridleways and we have a post and rail fenced paddock, so you are invited to bring your horse on Holiday! Packed lunches, well marked maps with between 10 and 25 mile trails are included, though you must provide your own insurance and mobile phone.

I did stay at this warm comfortable friendly helpful (I needed a lift to the bus stop the morning I left which was readily given (as was an evening meal when I arrived at a very acceptable price)) and shall go out of my way to return there at the first opportunity. Breakfast was nicely served and as some guests had written in the book, probably the best in Yorkshire!
