The Gordons Hotel is perfectly situated at the foot of the famous Cheddar Gorge in an ideal location for touring and walking in the beautiful Mendip Hills and the Somerset countryside.
The Hotel has been owned by the same family for some 25 years and retains its friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant has character and charm, where we serve a home cooked full English Breakfast. We do not do evening meals, but we do advanced party bookings.
The residents lounge where you can relax and browse through information on local places of interest for your outings, also has a television. All our bedrooms, which are fully heated, are provided with T.V. and tea-making facilities. Most rooms are full en-suite and are well appointed.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the private and well tended garden surrounding the heated outdoor swimming pool. We have limited car-parking, 1st come first served, but there is a Pay and Display opposite the hotel, which is free from 6pm - 8am.
