Glendevon Hotel
Come and stay at our lovely Victorian guest house where you can be assured of genuinely friendly service and a home from home atmosphere. Located in a quiet residential road on the favoured western side of Sidmouth, only minutes from the theatre, cinema, the famous Connaught Gardens, Jacob's Ladder bathing beach, the town centre, the esplanade and swimming pool.

The Glendevon is a stylish Victorian house which has been beautifully adapted to hotel use. All our 8 rooms are ensuite and have colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities and central heating.

The rooms are tastefully decorated with modern furniture and comfortable bed. There are no single room supplements.

For your further enjoyment there is a spacious guest lounge with comfortable chairs and a Victorian terrace for those who like the sun. As there are televisions in all rooms, the lounge is available for a friendly chat, games/cards or a quiet read, with books, magazines and the daily and local papers available.

Small, clean but comfortable room, but very expensive. Would expect more than lifebouy soap and washing up liquid in the bathroom for the cost. Breakfast good but basic and a problem when not ordered the night before. Overall okay - very handy for the town but customer service needs attention!
