Visiting Rothesay on the Isle Of Bute for a short break? Looking for accommodation? Hotel, Bed and Breakfast, Guest House. Then why not try the Glendale Guest House. A traditional styled Guest House with stunning views that will take your breath away.

The Glendale is a Victorian house built on the sea front in 1830 in the early1900 the house was converted to a hotel. We are an award Winning guest house promoting Spectacular views over Rothesay bay. We are ideally situated 3 minute walk from the town centre and pier All ten rooms at the Glendale have en- suite facilities; some of the room’s have spectacular views over the bay and surrounding hills.

We have a resident’s lounge with a panoramic sea view so why not sit back with a glass of wine and watch the marine activities and sunset’s or relax with a good book. Delicious Home cooked food is served in the newly refurbished dinning room.Of road parking is available.B&B from £25.00 per person to £35.00 per person special rates available please telephone for enquires.

Had a wonderful couple of days. Very comfortable and clean. Very welcoming and friendly owner. Definately would go back and recommend to others

Accommodation was very clean as was the 'linen' and en suite. The wonderfully comfortable lounge had an excellent panoramic view of Rothesay bay and harbour. The owners were very friendly and courteous at all times. My large heavy suitcase was carried to the top of the house where my room was without my asking for this service and brought down also.The food provided was of a very high standard with a good variety of choice provided each day. I tried a different 'main breakfast' each day and sampled things I had never tried before - all were beautifully presented and although i was alone the atmosphere was delightful. I will recommend the Glendale to my friends and certainly stay there again should I return to the Isle of Bute.

Excellent Food. Room very clean. Good security. We felt the rooms could have lighter decoration; also lighter in colour of funiture. This made the place look sad and dreary.
