Welcome to Glebe House B&B . This is where we hope to tempt you to come and stay with us.
Quite simply travelling, whether for pleasure or on business should be an exploring experience and at Glebe House we set out to make your stay enjoyable, comfortable, relaxing and memorable. Our aim is that you should leave Glebe House having had a special stay and a smile on your face.

About us:
We are set in some of the most beautiful countryside Britain can offer, with Avebury, Bath, Lacock and Stonehenge within easy reach. There is something for everyone - boating cycling walking - there are unlimited exciting routes to explore. There are historic houses, ancient sites and white horses on the downs. I am still exploring all the wonderful Wiltshire gardens and villages such as Lacock and Castle Combe, where the family has connections. We have a portfolio of ideas to share with you to make your stay special.

Sustainable tourism is very important to us and we take great care to source locally produced food. We are trying to look after our carbon footprint and working towards a green award.

If you are travelling on business we have wifi broadband here, as well peace and quiet and safe off street parking.

As people leave we have often been told that we are very fortunate to live in such a lovely place and that Glebe House is a bit of a hidden treasure. We invite you to come and see for yourself.

The Rooms:

Sporting Blue is a double room with its own bathroom and dressing set in the blue wing.

Green Room is a twin room on the ground floor with its own shower room in the green wing

Chateau Room is a twin room with a private bathroom

Rates:

Single bookings £35-£40 per night per room B & B

Double bookings £65 - £70 per night per room B & B

The Food:
We have both been involved in farming and we passionately believe in local good food. We are also fortunate to have an outstanding butcher and terrific farm shop filled with hundreds of Wiltshire products and the best local fruit and vegetables.

Breakfast and dinner are produced carefully and as locally as we can make them. We grow a little fruit here and have many herbs growing in the garden. All the bread, marmalade and jams are home made. Dinner is from £23 per head by previous arrangement

Directions:
Chittoe is situated off the A342 between the junctions of the A3120 Calne/Melksham road. From the A342 take the turning to Chittoe and Spye Park. Continue over a small cross road and into a narrow lane. Glebe House is the second on the left, past the Old Vicarage - first on left. Our drive is to the left on a blind left hand corner and up a country lane.

For those using GPS, our post code is SN15 2EL. Your GPS should deliver you to the end of our drive. Turn left and drive past the house and pull in at the back of the house to find the front door
