Gallen Treath Guest House
A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at Gallen-Treath. The guest house, established in 1965, is ideally situated with a panoramic view of both the sea and countryside.

We specialise in traditional English breakfasts and offer a tasty Vegetarian alternative using mainly local ingredients. We also cater for special diets. Enjoy your meal whilst looking out over the village of Porthallow and the Falmouth Bay to St. Mawes, the St. Anthony lighthouse and beyond to Dodman Point.

We offer an upstairs lounge for your relaxation, or you are welcome to step out onto the balcony and breathe in the fresh sea air. A patio and garden area are available during the summer months where you may wish to sit and observe the multitude of birds feeding in the garden, or simply watch the world go by.

All our bedrooms are en-suite and individually decorated with colour televisions and generous beverage facilities.

Evening meals are only available if requested at time of booking. However fine cuisine is available in Porthallow at the Five Pilchards inn nearby in St. Keverne, and many other places on the Lizard peninsular.

We would definitely stay here again. The rooms were lovely, clean and welcoming. Food superb, the dogs were made welcome(bonios on the tray!) without being allowed to intrude. CLIVE AND ALICIA WERE SMASHING, NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE and all done with a sense of humour and real welcome.Brilliant!

Food, accommodation and the Hosts were excellent. However, the car parking facilities were not of the standard expected. Additionally, if you want to sent text messages, then this is not the place for you.
