Spectacular setting, friendly service, excellent 'full breakfast', modest price. I will be returning! Score would have been '6' if there were any electric shaver points - strangely not provided.

My wife and I found the Flushing Meadows Guest House to be a wonderful place to spend a long weekend. Our room had plenty of drawer and wardrobe space and was well kept and comfortable. We were made to feel welcome by the owner and the breakfast each morning was very good. There is plenty of space for parking and access is convenient. We would stay again.

We stayed for over a week and our friendly host Jan accommodated our early starts with use of the kitchen as we were baby sitting whilst our daughter in law was having her second child. We enjoyed our cooked breakfasts and our twin room with ensuite. We will stay again.

The guest room was lovely with views over the fields behind and highland cows to boot! Very comfortable and warm, breakfast was great and plentyful and there was a huge bath to lounge in if you liked. Jan the owner was very friendly and made us feel at home. Only bad point was that we got woken up at 8am on a Saturday because someone though this was a good time to put up shelves! Sure this was a one off though and otherwise very happy - great value for money. Would stay again.
