Fingle Bridge Bed and Breakfast
Special Offer for January & February 2012:
Double or twin room £60/night.

Fingle Bridge is situated on the edge of the village of Wool in a peaceful setting with a stream running through the garden. We offer 3 letting rooms. Bedroom 1 is a twin bedded room (the beds can be strapped together to form a super kingsize double), with en-suite bathroom with shower and a bath to help you relax after a hard day sight seeing. Bedroom 2 is a large family room with a super king double bed(as bedroom 1) and two full size singles with en-suite bathroom with full size bath with overhead shower. Bedroom 3 has a kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom with full size bath with overhead shower.
Breakfast is served in our pleasant dining room which opens onto the streamside terrace. Watch the antics of our ducks as you enjoy a full English breakfast incuding fresh eggs from our own hens and Liz's homemade bread and a selection of homemade jams and marmalade.
We are within a 5 or 10 minute walk from the 2 pubs in the village both of which serve evening meals. The local shop and Post Office (which also sells take away food) is also only a 5 minute walk away.
Whilst staying with us enjoy a visit to the many local attractions including Monkey World(2 miles), the Tank Museum (2 miles), Lulworth Castle (3miles) and the Jurassic Coast at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door(5 miles). We are also only 15 miles from the sandy beaches of Bournemouth to the east and Weymouth to the west.

One of the best experiences I have enjoyed in 12 years of international travel. The owners couldn't do any more to make you feel welcome, even the ducksare friendly. Wool is also a very nice quiet village close to a lot of places of interest.

the bedroom was large and comfortable, and the bathroom clean and elegant. everything worked as it should. wonderful countryside scenery out the window, and even on the premises there are gardens and a stream hosting some wonderfully cute ducks (hence the address!). Mr and Mrs Baker were warm and hospitable. breakfast was superb as well.

Liz and Colin gave us a very warm welcome and ensured our comfort throughout. We apprecieated all the little extras that were totally unexpected like the provision of a fridge and fresh milk and all the extras in the bathroom lkie cotton buds, the hairdryer and toiletries in case you had forgotten your own. A cooked breakfast was on offer each day and we never left the table hungry.

Liz and Colin really welcoming and made you feel at home. Lots of little extras in the room like a fridge and fresh milk as well as such things as a hairdryer, cotton buds, shampoo and bubble bath - all totally unexpected but welcomed. Breakfast was filling, and a cooked breaksat was offered daily. They made sure we had suffient information about the area to ensure we had plenty to do in rain or shine. Local Pubs 5 and 10 minutes away provide good food.

We stayed at Fingle Bridge while visiting Monkey World this week and were very impressed with our host, Liz, and her friendly hospitality. Our room was a spacious and comfotable family room with a double bed, two single beds and surely enough room for a cot or additional temporary bed if needed. The bedroom and en suite bathroom were clean, modern, bright and airy, with a small table and chairs, tea and coffee making facilities, television with DVD, full length mirror and plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. Basically everything you need for a short stay. Breakfast was great, with a choice of cereals, full cooked English breakfast plus tea, coffee, fresh orange juice and of course Liz's delicious homemade preserves. The garden is beautiful and the B&B is five minutes walk from Wool station and only a mile or so drive from Monkey World. The village of Wool is very pretty and there's a local Spar close by for any other needs. In the evening we ate at the Black Bear pub, a few minu
