Fasgadh (which is Gaelic for 'sheltered place') is a comfortable croft house, in the heart of the Morvern peninsula. This bed and breakfast offers the facility of a room within the croft house with private bathroom, or on the same bed and breakfast basis, having your privacy in the spacious caravan within the grounds. Whether you require a one night stop-over to catch the ferry at Lochaline or a few days in this peaceful area we will make you feel most welcome. A traditional Scottish breakfast is available every morning at your required time and dinner is available for which pre-booking is preferred (vegetarians catered for). Packed lunches can also be prepared for you to take out on your day's adventures.
If you would prefer a self-catering holiday the well equipped residential caravan is available for letting on this basis.
With supermarkets in Fort William and Oban and a village store in Lochaline (10 miles from here), it is possible to buy all your necessary provisions. The caravan is permanently sited with three bedrooms (maximum six people), living room/dining area, kitchen and bathroom with shower. The facilities inside include electric heating, electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine and colour TV. Bed linen and towels can be supplied on request - from £3 per person. Ample parking is available for vehicles.
Fasgadh has splendid views across the Sound of Mull and the area is quiet and peaceful yet bustling with natures own activity. If you intend to stay for a few days or longer there is plenty to see and do in the area but most popular are the countryside activities ie Mountain biking, walking, cycling and fishing with lots of interesting wildlife to be seen.
