ABOUT WHERE WE ARE
The village of Dolwyddelan is the ideal starting place to experience all the sights and sounds of North Wales.

The hotel is located in the centre of the village. Dolwyddelan stands at a natural and historical crossroads, at the foot of Moel Siabod – 2861 feet (872m), straddling the trout and salmon-rich Afon Lledr, a river, which wends its way through meadows and turbulent gorges northwards to join the Afon Conwy at Llyn yr Afanc.

The Castle, just outside the village centre, controls a commanding and awesome panorama and the views from the battlements are breath-taking; the Crimea Pass (Bwlch y Gorddinan) and the Moelwyn Mountains, towards Moel Siabod and away to the Denbigh Moors.

Comfortable, pleasant hosts, everything that we required, decor a little tired, but I believe to be uplifted this year. Food excellent, varied menu. A very pleasant stay.

clean, spacious room, very comfy bed with all the touches needed to make your stay special. Very friendly, made welcome along with our dogs, nice we could have them in our room and in the bar, food was wonderful and plentiful, too much for me to have a sweet! Would recommend to anyone and would love to go back. You do need to watch put for the very busy road as the car park is opposite the hotel, a bit dodgy with more than one frisky dog and if you hve children.
