The Edgcumbe Guest House is very bright clean, comfortable and well resourced. We stayed in a lovely en-suite room with a four poster bed. The breakfasts are very good and the owners are very friendly and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending the Edgcumbe Guest House highly.

Very friendly and comfortable. Took a while to work out how to use the shower but all ok.

We are a 15 minute walk from the city centre with it's new Drake Circus Shopping Mall and the historic Barbican where The Pilgrim Fathers sailed from to found New England. There you will find The National Marine Aquarium - the largest in Europe.
Plymouth is steeped in maritime history from Sir Francis Drake who famously defeated the Spanish Armada to Sir Francis Chichester - the first man to sail single handed around the world.
