Welcome to Edendale. Jane and Robert have recently converted what was Kirkoswald's police house into a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Situated at the top of the village with extensive views over the Eden Valley from every room, Edendale is the ideal place, whether you require a quiet overnight stay or stopping longer to explore this beautiful unspoilt area.

Kirkoswald is one of the most attractive villages in the Eden valley, within easy reach of the M6, the old market town of Penrith and the Border City of Carlisle, Gretna and the gateway to Scotland.

There is plenty of off road parking and cycles can be locked away overnight if you are cycling coast to coast or from one end of the country to the other (we are exactly halfway there) or just enjoying the area.

Robert, a locally renowned chef has many years' experience in the hospitality business and he uses local produce wherever possible making breakfast something to be looked forward to.
We offer everyone a warm and friendly welcome to our home.

We have three well-furnished and very comfortable bedrooms, a double, a twin and a single, all ensuite and with extensive views over the valley. The double room has a bath and the twin and single showers. All the rooms have televisions, clock radios, hair dryers and tea and coffee making facilities.
