Dorothy and Robin Ross would like to welcome you to Eastbank Bed and Breakfast which is the upper conversion of a traditional Victorian villa in Helensburgh, built in 1832. There are 18 steps to the main entrance but no stairs inside. This is a good place.
Eastbank is a VisitScotland 3 Star Bed & Breakfast establishment. Both Robin and Dorothy have Welcome Host and Scotland’s Best Certificates. Your hosts have a good knowledge of the area and would be pleased to help you plan your trip. Robin is a leather worker and has a certificate for Drystane Dyking. Dorothy is a knitter and has certificates to allow her to teach Machine Knitting.
Eastbank has been delightfully modernised to give you a comfortable holiday, and is, of course, fully centrally heated, with thermostatic controls in all rooms. It is situated in a quiet part of Helensburgh, only 10 minutes walk from the town centre. The accommodation offered is 1 double/twin room with en-suite facilities and 1 family room. There is ample off street parking.

Directions:
When you leave the Glasgow airport take the M8 Erskine Bridge/Greenock. Cross the Erskine Bridge. Take the A82 to Crianlarich. At the traffic lights take the A814 to Helensburgh. When you enter Helensburgh you are on a duel carriageway. At the end of the duel carriageway Hanover Street is the 2nd street on your right. Eastbank is on your right. Take the outside stairway and you have found us.
From the A82 take the B832 Helensburgh. This brings you right into Helensburgh. At the 3rd set of traffic lights turn left East Clyde Street. This is the A814 Dumbarton. Look for the Esso Petrol Station, Hanover Street is the 4th street on your left PAST the Esso Station. Eastbank is on your right. Come up the stairs on the outside of the house and you have found us.
From Helensburgh Upper. Turn right when you leave the station. Go straight down the hill to East Clyde Street and turn Left. This is the A814 Dumbarton. Look for the Esso Petrol Station, Hanover Street is the 4th street on your left PAST the Esso Station. Eastbank is on your right. Come up the stairs on the outside of the house and you have found us.
From Helensburgh Central: leave the station and turn left and walk along East Princes Street to the end. Turn right into Hanover Street. We are next door to the block of flats.
