No longer being a working farm, the House is a Grade II listed building some 500 years old, with oak beams and inglenook fireplace and moulded ceiling. There is a large garden with ample parking facilities.
The village has two public houses and two restaurants, all serving good food and within 5 minutes easy walking. The village is within approximately 20 minutes easy reach of Beach, Moors and National Trust properties. There is also a bus service.
