Derwent Guest House
The 3 star, pet friendly Derwent Guest House is delightfully situated on the Cliff top road of Southbourne with views of the sea, Hengistbury Head and the Isle of Wight. A full English or Continental breakfast is served in our cosy dining room overlooking the garden. Wi-Fi is available and there is also plenty of parking spaces.

Wireless internet is available. All rooms at the Derwent are fully en-suite, some with sea view, flat screen television and complimentary tea/coffee tray. A fridge is also available for cool drinks.

Directions:

From Ringwood take A338 towards Bournemouth turn off for Christchurch. Approaching Christchurch turn right at railway bridge onto the A3059 Southbourne. Continue on over traffic lights over Tuckton river bridge to roundabout take left fork to Southbourne Sands and we are on the main cliff top road.

Unfortunatley I didnt get a response from derwent guest house, which was dissapointing to say the least. I accept that they may have been no availability, however a response to say this would have made all the difference for future holidaying with derwent guest house..

Our stay at Derwent House was great, Thelma and Roy were excellent hosts and very friendly, I will recommend them to my friends who wish to stay in Bournemouth

Nearby Attractions:

Take a stroll along the promenade where you will find a nature walk to follow, or a path to Mudeford Beach, also Tuckton village. A ferryboat from Tuckton will take you over the River Stour to the historical town of Christchurch to visit Christchurch Priory. Boscombe Surf Reef, and entertainment are close by. There are local cliff top restaurants and Bistro on the beach only minute's walk away. The New Forest is only 5 miles away and the historical town of Christchurch and Highcliffe Castle are less than 3 miles.
