Crusoe Hotel
There can be few hotels with a more dramatic location than The Crusoe Hotel in Lower Largo. This family run three star hotel is situated at the water's edge with most bedrooms having superb views over the sea or harbour. Combined with the wonderful character of the hotel's bar, restaurant, meeting rooms and bedrooms it makes The Crusoe the ideal destination for your short break, golf holiday or just a great evening out.

The hotel offers a range of single, double or twin rooms as well as two suites, all of which have en suite facilities and are equipped with remote control colour television, hairdryer, trouser press, teas and coffee making facilities and self dial telephone. The bedrooms are all fully ensuite and many have undergone a full refurbishment. The accommodation is well finished throughout and the views across the harbour and sea are quite stunning.

The original beamed ceilings in the public rooms and ever changing views of the harbour make the hotel a favourite place to relax over a meal in the Largo Lounge or over a glass of wine or local ale. The Crusoe is well know locally for both its lively bar and its excellent meals. The character of the restaurant and bar make the hotel unique and even if you're only passing through the East Neuk of Fife you really should mark The Crusoe out for a meal or a quiet drink. The walls are adorned with historic artefacts and tell the tale of an area of Scotland steeped in nautical history and literary legend.

The Crusoe is ideally situated for a golfing break. Only twelve miles from St Andrews, and surrounded by many of the finest courses in Scotland. The hotel can even arrange your tee times for you with packages available with a wide selection of golf courses throughout Fife. Take advantage of a range of golf passes, organised golf events or tailor make your own tour. Within a few miles of The Crusoe you'll find Crail, Lundin Links, Leven and the inland gem of Ladybank. Kingsbarns and all of the St Andrews courses are all within twenty minutes of the hotel.

The Crusoe Hotel is situated in what's known as The East Neuk of Fife - a coastal paradise with a string of fishing villages and harbour towns stretching from St. Andrews to Lundin Links and includes picturesque coastal villages such as Crail, Anstruther, Pittenweem and Elie.

We stayed overnight in the hotel as we were attending a function at a different venue we did not really spend much time in the hotel. However we enjoyed the time there. The room was clean but could do with a makeover decor wise breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly and available when needed

We were in ensuite bedroom which also had lounge and balcony, very comfortable and beautiful view. Our dog was also welcome. Antique TV and electric fire in sittingroom, but didn't matter. Great breakfast and room service.
