The Crown Hotel is located just five miles away from the centre of Carlisle, only two miles from either Junction 42 or 43 of the M6 motorway. Ideally located for guests travelling from all points of the country.

The Crown Hotel has 51 bedrooms and suites, featuring the highest quality decor and furnishings. A range of family rooms, four-poster rooms and non-smoking rooms are available. We'd like to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you would prefer any of the following, or have other special requests, please ask us when you make your reservation.

The Crown Hotel offers beautiful surroundings for your special day.
We have a variety of rooms that are perfect for any size of wedding celebrations, from a wedding breakfast for 20 to an evening party for 150, and all our rooms have been granted a civil (wedding) licence to host civil ceremonies by Cumbria County Council.

The Conservatory Restaurant overlooks the beautiful landscaped gardens and has been awarded an AA rosette for its fine cuisine. The Conservatory Lounge is ideal for afternoon tea or pre-dinner drinks. A few paces from the Restaurant, Walton's Bar - a traditional village local, serves real ale and fine food. Private dining rooms are also available. Room Service is available 24 hours each day.

Hotel clean, room clean, staff friendly. Breakfast cold (the hotel had a wedding party staying overnight and I felt they took preference). However, we did get a refund on the breakfast, which showed the hotel's good intent.

The staff were very friendley and nothing was to much trouble, the food was great, definatley would recommend and cant wait to go back.
