Built in 1805 Crosby Lodge Country House Hotel enjoys an idyllic setting the heart of the peaceful Cumbrian countryside overlooking unspoilt parkland and the River Eden beyond. The Sedgwick family purchased Crosby Lodge in 1970 and in the years since they and the hotel have gained an enviable reputation for quality and excellence.

Supremely comfortable, the Lodge maintains a dignified aura of tranquillity and solitude: richly furnished with fine period pieces of the Georgian era, our guests feel instantly at ease and relaxed. Stroll around the grounds and pause a while to enjoy a delightful rural scene at every turn, where rolling fields meet an expanse of sky. The mature gardens have been lovingly and carefully planned: tumbling ivy softens architectural lines and cascades from the Lodge to meet the manicured lawns of the sun-drenched terrace.
