Crescentlodge
Crescent Lodge has recently undergone a programme of extensive re-furbishment and upgrading resulting in attractively decorated en-suite guest bedrooms with substantial and attractive furniture all in keeping with the period but not bowing to it completely as they now include colour television, beverage maker, central heating, hairdryer and radio alarm clock.

Ripon’s restaurants are just a short walk away and here you will find an evening meal to suit most tastes. We do not think that you will be seeking lunch after a Crescent Lodge breakfast where you are invited to select from fruit juices, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit and luxury dried fruits. Then, available to order, perhaps porridge with premium whole rolled Scottish Oats; Californian prunes in natural juice or grapefruit segments.

A full English breakfast including everything imaginable or an equally wide ranging vegetarian option or scrambled eggs. White or wholemeal toast, crumpets, croissants, brioche rolls, toasted teacakes and tea or coffee!.......... English breakfast tea, decaffeinated, Earl Grey, Green or cranberry, raspberry and elderflower. Coffee comes in the form of a cafetiere of fresh or decaffeinated coffee.

My friends & I stayed in all three rooms. The owner was pleasent, and really took the time to explain how everything worked i.e.TV, extra heating etc. All the bathrooms looked new & modern, and the rooms were cosy, with comfy beds. We would stay here again, should we return to Ripon overnight again, although the rooms should be priced a little lower we all felt - perhaps £50 for a double, & £60/£70 for the family room.
