a good hotel, very clean & comfortable. breakfast good but service slow. went for eastbourne airshow, so road hotel was on was closed, so parking was a problem and with eastbourne's parking restrictions in area (pass needed-50p from hotel or parking was expensive) it was advised that once a parking place was found you did not move, so visiting other places was limited. overall though a very enjoyable break.

We enjoyed our stay at the Courtlands Hotel although there was a lack of hot water in our bathroom. Also we were surprised to be told on checking out that there was a 2% charge for paying our bill with a credit card which was something we were not made aware of. As a result I paid by debit card.

We stay there as it is close to Devonshire Park where we play in the Vets tennis tournament at the end of August.
