the room had the bare esentials it was clean but the carpet had lots of stains as did the carpets in the hotel as a whole,in the bathroom the seal round the bath was black there was dirt round the bath screen, the toilet seat was loose, no water glass, at breakfast there was only two staff serving 40 plus people, we were not very happy, the staff were very helpfull and courtious.

Hotel this size should have an elevator. We were unable to get a disabled guest up to our room. Heating did not work and staff could not fix it. Bathtub needs hand held shower and grab bar. Otherwise, room was large and clean, decor a bit stark, not a single print or picture anywhere. But, fair value if the heating had worked.

I stayed in room 51 which was a nice room in itself. The only problems I found with this room was when I got back from the wedding I had gone to I returned to my room to find it was like a sauna in there! I turned the radiator off. I would have opened a window normally but as there was no window and only a sky light, which could not be opened, I spent the night sleeping on top of the bed as I was soo hot.
