Cottage Garden - 'A delightful sanctuary of tranquility in one and a half acres of naturalized garden.' Nestling within the small, pretty village of Compton Dando with its own pub, yet only 7 miles from the historic city of Bath, lies our warm & homely country cottage, surrounded by one and a half acres of peaceful, natural gardens.
It is within easy reach of Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole (with its caves) Wells, Longleat, Bristol & of course the Chew Valley Lakes. It is an ideal base for walking, cycling (2 bikes for hire) or simply relaxing.
The guest rooms, all non smoking, are beautifully decorated with imaginative paint effects and stencilling. They consist of 1double (5ft wide bed) en suite(power shower)Also has a fridge.
1 twin en suite(corner bath), 1 family room with a fridge and 1 single. Each have a colour TV, hot drinks tray and hair dryer to make you feel at home.
Though no longer an en-suite on the ground floor we had a stair lift installed to make life easier for some folks
