Large Victorian farmhouse in the centre of Northumberland.We have 1 double ensuite 1 twin/double ensuite and a family room with private facilities.All rooms have radio,tv, hair dryers and drink trays.
Ideal for walking, bird watching, sightseeing or fishing.Wallington Hall, Belsay and Sweethope fishing lake are 10 mins, we are close to Rothbury, Cragside, Hadrian's Wall, Keilder dam, Newcastle and the airport. Scotland, Alnwick and the coast are 30 minutes away.


Cornhills is the perfect peaceful place to stay.

We stayed with Lorna for a week at the beginning of March. She made us feel at home straight away. The room was clean, quiet and beautifully furnished and overlooked an orchard, filled with snowdrops. The breakfasts were freshly prepared and varied. It was fun to see the free-range chickens grubbing around and see Lorna collecting eggs for breakfast. The abundance of easy parking and distance from the road itself was good, gave a feeling of security and peace. Would recommend anyone to stay here for a relaxing, refreshing break in the most beautiful part of Britain.

A very comfortable and enjoyable couple of days, staying in such good accommodation made the trip even more pleasurable. Ideal location a few minutes from a main route between Scotland and England, top quality accommodation providing comfortable, well appointed bedroom en suite and excellent breakfasts.
