Commodore Guest House
Run by Hazel and Harry Greene, the Commodore faces West into the setting sun and is ideally situated for that midweek break, long weekend or longer stay. Just a couple of minutes stroll from Rothesay Pier and bustling town centre, we enjoy panoramic views over Rothesay Bay and the rolling hills of the Cowal peninsula.

All our rooms are tastefully furnished to a high standard with Digital colour television. Each bedroom has full en-suite bathroom with shower facility. We provide complimentary tea and coffee replenished daily. There is also a hair-dryer in the rooms. We also have wireless internet available.

Try our famous 'full Scottish breakfast' or go 'Continental' from our dining room's groaning Welsh dresser.

For the continued comfort and well being of all our guests the Commodore is non smoking.

Room clean, tidy, well decorated but very small. Bath and shower. Breakfast good, but fresh tomatoes would be nicer than tinned. Very friendly and anxious to please.

The Commodore was ok as B&Bs go. The main drawback was that the breakfast is only available between 8 and 8.45. Also at £40 pppn the breakfast was simply ok. The room was very clean and the owner was friendly without being overbearing.
