A 3 star Hotel in elegant Victorian style in the centre of the Leas with spectacular views of the English Channel. 80 comfortable bedrooms, Garden Restaurant, bar, conference and banqueting facilities for 10 to 75. Perfect venue for business people. Peaceful location yet only 10 minutes away from the town's amenities and the Channel Tunnel Terminal to the continent.

The Clifton Hotel is Folkestone's premier hotel with an elegant cliff-top position and spectacular views of the English Channel. Built in 1864, originally as a seaside townhouse for its Victorian residents, it nestles in the centre of Folkestone's famous Leas, which is renowned for its well-kept lawns and gardens.

Only fifty yards from the Leas Cliff Hall Conference and Entertainment Centre, the Clifton also provides an excellent base for trips to France being only three miles from the Le Shuttle terminal and seven miles from the ferry port in Dover, as well as being conveniently situated for the M20 motorway.

From M20:
The Clifton Hotel is approximately 2 miles from the M20 motorway.
Leave the M20 at junction 13. At the first roundabout on leaving the slip road turn right (third exit).
Follow the road down the hill to a second roundabout and turn right again (third exit), following the signs to the Town Centre and the Leas.
Go through one set of traffic lights and at the second set of lights continue straight on over the crossroads and under a railway bridge.
Follow the road round for approximately one mile until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout turn right (third exit) into Castle Hill Avenue.
Continue straight on over two more roundabouts into Langhorne Gardens.
The Clifton Hotel can be seen at the top of this short road on the righthand side.
Travelling by rail
The Folkestone Central train station is approximately half a mile distant from the hotel. Taxis can be found at the exit from the station.
Ashford International train station is approximately 20 minutes drive from the hotel.
