Castlerigg Manor, Keswick

Youth Retreat. Castlerigg Manor is an ideal setting for a wide range of activities including group weekends, parish outings, walking trips and family holidays. It is difficult to better the Manors location, set as it is in the heart of the Lake District. Castlerigg and many of its resources, including a new self-catering facility are available to parishes, families, youth groups, schools and other groups who wish to organise activities that require a residential element. High quality budget accommodation is provided, which includes access to a wide range of facilities.

The Manor normally needs to plan well ahead to accommodate the groups who wish to come here.

We ask for a deposit several months in advance of your trip and ideally, therefore, you need to be thinking about your arrangements some months ahead.

Self-Catering Facilities at Castlerigg Manor are available for groups of 13-25 on a weekend or Monday-Friday basis. Groups opting for self-catering have access to a spacious new kitchen and rooms for group work. In addition the other facilities of the Manor are available to the group at various times of the day.
