Cary Fitzpaine is a 4 star, pet friendly, Georgian Manor Farmhouse set in two acres of beautiful gardens on a 600 acre mixed farm of Arable, Sheep and Horses. Plus various pets. The house is the main house in a tiny hamlet comprising of six cottages and a post box. Life is recorded here in the Doomsday Book and it is very peaceful and tranquil.
All our rooms are furnished and decorated to a very high standard and have en-suite or private facilities. We have a large four-poster bedroom/suite available and also have a very spacious, well-equipped, self-catering cottage available.

Cancellations:
In the event of the cancellation of the booking within
7 days of intended arrival, we regret that any deposit will not be refundable and if the cancellation is within 24 hours of stay, the equivalent of one day's tariff will be charged (including deposit). This charge will of course be waived if the room is re-let.

Nearby Attractions:
Cary Fitzpaine is approxomately 4 miles from Somerton and 8 miles from Yeovil. We are only 1½ miles from the A303 and ½ mile from the A37. It is an excellent base for viewing National Trust properties with Lytes Cary, Barrington Court, Tintinhull, Stourhead and Montacute within easy reach. Plus many other private houses and gardens open to the public nearby. The Fleet Arm Museum at Yeovilton is 5 minutes away and the Haynes Car Museum 10 minutes away. We have golf available nearby at Wheathill and Yeovil, Riding near Somerton.
