Caol Ithe Guest House
Situated on the edge of Fionnphort with easy access to Iona, Staffa and the Ross of Mull. Caol-Ithe, offering either guesthouse bed & breakfast accommodation or self catering in adjoining cottages, makes an ideal base from which to explore this unique island in the Inner Hebrides.

Our spacious, warm bungalow has both double bedded rooms with en-suite facilities and twin-bedded rooms with private use facilities. With the addition of guest lounge and dining room, benefiting from superb views from Iona to Ben More, you can be sure of a comfortable and relaxing stay. Our two self-catering cottages, set alongside the guesthouse are warm and comfortable and well equipped to provide for the ideal location for the longer stay.

Our aim is to provide you with a comfortable, friendly and relaxing stay here in Fionnphort. We are just a few minutes walk from the ferry to Iona and boat trips to Staffa and the Treshnish Islands and with the village amenities close by Caol Ithe is a perfect base from which to explore the beauty and history of the Ross of Mull.

Our rooms are comfortably furnished, warm with double glazed windows and central heating throughout. You can choose from those with double bed and en-suite facilities or with twin single beds and private use facilities. All have TV, dressing table, large fitted double wardrobe and drinks tray with comprehensive choice of beverages. All rooms are on the ground floor for easy access. Guests have use of comfortable sitting room with TV on satellite reception and great views.

The guest's dining room is spacious with open country views and our breakfast offers either afull traditional cooked option or choice of a less filling dishes. A range of cereals, toast, fruit, tea and coffee are also available. Evening meals if booked in advance may also be available. Private parking is available alongside the house.

The Isle of Mull is in the Inner Hebrides, in Western Scotland. It benefits from regular ferry links, the 45minute crossing from Oban being the most popular. However, visitors may prefer to come across from the Morvern peninsula on the Lachaline ferry or from Ardnamurchan to Tobermory.

Directions:

We are easily found, the first property in the village, turn left after the village sign for our private parking. Allow about 1 hour to reach Fionnphort from the ferry at Craignure. If travelling on public transport, a polite request to the bus driver usually means you can be dropped outside.
