Birds Nest Cottage, built in 1853 is a traditional cottage and has been a Guest House for more than 30 years. Now completely refurbished, we offer modern facilities with a woodland garden and riverside location for you to enjoy during your stay.
Your host is also a qualified therapist offering massage, hopi candles, crystal therapy, reiki etc. Please ask at time of booking.
We have 5 bedrooms (1 single, 2 twin and 2 double), and so can accommodate groups as well as single people, couples and families. All rooms have television, tea & coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. Ironing facilities are available upon request.
Wireless internet connections available.
We have two lounges for guests including a large TV room and and quiet room.
Birds Nest Cottage is ideal for holiday-makers, people working away from home, and anyone looking for friendly and comfortable short or longer-term accommodation at an affordable price. Prices start from £27.50 per person per night, including full English or continental breakfast, vegetarians and vegans catered for. Packed lunch are available upon request.
We also offer secure storage for cycles.

Nearby Attractions:
We are close to Pennine Way and trans-Pennine Way walk/cycle routes.
Many local walk and cycle routes are available from Glossop, we have route maps etc available in the cottage.
Sportscity Manchester is only half an hour away and include Manchester City FC, Manchester Velodrome, etc
