The Bentine Hotel is a small family dog/pet friendly Victorian Hotel run by the present proprietors Ben and Christine Spencer for the last 27 Years giving you a genuine home from home feeling. All rooms are fully serviced on a daily basis.

New: Now with total free WI-FI throughout just ask for the password we also have a free computer for your use should you need it. We cater for business or pleasure.

Standard and en-suite rooms from just £24pppn B&B with multi-choice Breakfast and large private car park. Tea & coffee TV and free view all rooms open all year round. Snacks and drinks available most times. Check out the website for Special Offers at various times of the year.

Many bars and restaurants in town centre area also theatre, cinemas and bowling alley all within walking distance. The famous Marine Lake and watersports is just 2 minutes away with the Conference centre next door to it.

Why not take a stroll down the newly refurbished Pier or take the train to the end? If you bring the children along there is the famous Splash World for family fun.

We are just a short walk from the town centre so no need to take the car, if needs be a taxi can be had for just £2.50

At the end of the stay we found it very uncomfortable as we were putting things in the car she was hovering around it seemed as tho' she thought we would do a runner. As we were walking up the stairs we heard her say in the kitchen 'none of them had have paid yet'. We'd still got 30 mins before had to vacate the room. One of the couples with us asked if they could sit in the lounge for an hour whilst we had a walk, as she was getting over a dislocated knee, the lady agreed but very abruptly wanted to know for how long, we didn't find her pleasent

She and her husband were lovely people and although the guest house needs some updating in decor and fitments it wasa very good [place to stay especially as they allowed dogs.

Friendly staff, comfortable room and very convenient for all amenities in Southport. I felt a bit cold in the room at night but extra blankets were available once tucked up in bed. I recommend it.

The breakfast was good, with plenty of tea and coffee, also extra toast if we wanted it. Will definately go again and recomend to friends and family.

We have a small dog that sleeps in a cage and they were happy for us to have her in our room. (The room wasn't at all doggy as I worried it might be!) We had the best breakfast I've ever had in a B&B.
