Beechfield House Hotel, Melksham

Beechfield House is a gem of a Country House hotel, privately owned and run, and situated just where the West Country starts getting interesting.

The accommodation includes a top restaurant, a fine wine cellar, an outdoor heated swimming pool, and eighteen comfortable en-suite rooms, plus a few surprises: our own arboretum of rare trees in the beautiful grounds, a beauty treatment salon tucked away upstairs for peace and quiet, and wireless internet for both business and pleasure.

New owners Christopher and Felicity Whyte live on the premises, and provide the highest standards of comfort and hospitality in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

There are 18 good-sized bedrooms at Beechfield House, all refreshingly different from one another, and all named after the trees you can find in the grounds.

All rooms are ensuite, have satellite TV, a hairdryer, complimentary magic potions in the bathroom, coffee and tea making facilities, delicious pure Egyptian cotton sheets and towels, and (soon) bathrobes you will be encouraged to buy rather than run off with.
