Stapleton's Chantry is a lovely 16th Century family home, in a peaceful and very beautiful village, conveniently located for access to Abingdon, Didcot, Oxford, Wallingford, River Thames, Oxfordshire Cycleway, Ridgeway Path, Henley on Thames and Oxfordshire. We offer exceptional comfort, very welcoming and flexible hosts, and look forward to having you come stay with us. Harwell, Rutherford Appleton Laboratories, Culham, Diamond Syncatron,Milton Business Park Abingdon, are all easily reached, our rooms have desks for working plus Fibre Optic wireless broadband available in all rooms and in public areas. All rooms have masses of thoughtful extras, Luxury bathrobes, plenty of towels, DVD?CD Players plus DVDs to watch, and lots more.
Our very friendly and pretty village pub, The Bear Inn, serves very good home cooked meals seven days a week, excellent prize winning beer and wine. Plus we have two Michelin Pub Guide starred restaurants close-by and lots of other excellent places to eat from La Manoir aux Quats Saisons to lovely traditional English Pubs.

Several excellent Michelin restaurants close-by, very friendly village pub serving very good homemade meals, we are two miles from Didcot Parkway Mainline Railway Station and 45 minutes from London Paddington Station. We are one hour from London Heathrow Airport. We have very good local taxi services happy to take you locally or long distance. The train journey from Didcot to Oxford City Centre is only ten minutes - much easier than driving!

We are very easy to find - North Moreton Village is just off the main A4130 Didcot - Wallingford road, Stapleton's Chantry is on the main road through the village - we are the only pink house in the village. There are excellent directions on our website.
