Beckfoot is a beautiful Victorian Country House in 3 acres of grounds set in the peaceful Lowther valley, a hidden corner of the Lake District National Park, 4 miles from Haweswater and Ullswater. We are 6.5 miles from Penrith town centre. We are a family run guest house and we, Lesley and David White, have been here now for 28 years. All facilities at Beckfoot are kept fully up to date with en-suite bath or showers in all rooms together with refreshment facilities and Satellite TV. Some rooms have Mini fridges and ironing centres as well.
Both double and twin bedded rooms together with a family room and a Four poster room are available and we are pet friendly allowing dogs in certain bedrooms, (we make a small charge of £1.50 per dog).
We offer special rates for a 3 night break rate of £33pp per night (standard room). This is £40pp per night in our 4 poster room for a 3 night stay. Please see website for details www.beckfoot.co.uk
At certain times of the year we specialise in 'Guitar Weekend' breaks for hobby guitar players to come and learn how to play better. This can be viewed on our web site www.guitarweekends.co.uk.
We would love the chance to make your stay in the Lake District a special one. There are many places to visit from here and we are very convenient for stop offs on the way to Scotland being equidistant between junctions 39 and 40 of the M6 motorway.
