The Bay House Hotel is on the West Bay overlooking the Isles of Bute and Arran, only 10 minutes walk from the town and amenities but also only a short walk or drive to the beautiful Scottish hills, countryside and Lochs.
The hotel has been awarded Three Stars by the Scottish Tourist Board and the owners pride themselves on the standard of comfort and attention they give to guests,all food is home cooking with likes, dislikes and allergies taken into account.The hotel is a Non Smoking establishment.
Use Dunoon as a base to explore the wonderful areas around, go walking, bird watching, play golf or just enjoy the quiet and peace that is all around. From the front garden watch the cruise liners & naval ships sailing by.

From the Pier/Cal. Mac. ferry turn left towards West Bay, just after The Rock Cafe indicate left and turn down Park Avenue a one way road, over the crossroads, turn right and we are the fourth hotel along, our car park is at the front. Foot passengers walk along the promenade, our front gate opens

Good value for money. Excellent food. Clean rooms with everything you need in them (loved the tea tray). The owners were great in telling us about the area which made our stay less hectic and much more enjoyable. Fantastic view from the living room and the dining room. Close to the town and public transport into Glasgow, but still relaxing with the ocean right there.

Nearby Attractions:

An abundance of countryside for walking, cycling and sightseeing by car of lochs, hills and various wildlife. Three nearby golf courses, swimming pool, crazy golf, Castle House museum, Benmore Gardens, quad biking and much much more.
