Barnacre is located in the centre of picturesque Longhirst conservation village. Formally part of Longhirst Farm, Barnacre is an original 18th century barn situated in one acre of grounds hence its name. Now run as a 4 star self catering and bed & breakfast establishment.
If you are attending a wedding or function at Longhirst Hall we are within 3 minutes walk away.
The conversion was completed in 1997, using all the original stone, bricks, beams and slates. Barnacre is set around an enclosed courtyard, all our rooms are spacious, bright and warm.
Accommodation:
Bed and Breakfast accommodation offers 1 double ensuite, 1 double with private bathroom and one interconnecting family room with ensuite. Tea & coffee making facilities in all rooms. SKY TV in guests lounge.
Breakfast is served in the main dining room between 7.30am and 9am (9.30am on Sundays) and special dietary requirements can be catered for on request.
To the rear is Warren cottage formally the granary and is available during peak times as exclusive Bed & Breakfast accommodation for one couple, one family or small group.
Accommodation includes four poster double room, second guest room, bathroom and lounge with SKY TV.
Check in times is between 4pm and 6pm unless otherwise arranged. Please check out by 10am on day of departure.
There is ample off road parking available
If you wish to bring your dog please let us know beforehand.
