Spent 3 days, very pleasant and friendly landlord and landlady. Good breakfast, evening meal was fine too. Room was a little small, however we liked the very large bed. Easy access for walking to town centre.

the guest house was very clean and a credit to the owners. The famous breakfast was a let down no black pudding & no fried bread. still that would have been a perfect 10/10 really nice place & people.

As a female on my own in a strange country, my hosts made me feel very safe and welcome. They helped me to discover lots of places to visit, extremely helpfull. My room was spotless, the breakfast was great and dinner was second to non. If I ever visit the UK again, Bank Villa will be on my visit list, I arrived as a guest and left as a friend. Highly recomended.

We were visiting the UK from the USA, we have spent 7 weeks in the UK. Staying at Bank Villa was the cream on top of our milk. The hosts were the very best, the rooms were stopless as was all of the house. What can we say about the food, OH MY GOD it was fantastic, we ate in every night with a new menu for each night. We had the time ever here, we will be back.

Bank Villa is an excellent place to stay. The food is fantastic as is the service and attention to detail. Our room was immaculately clean and had great charecter as well as being comfortable. No wonder the breakfast is so good, otherwise yoiu may prefer to stay in bed! Local produce abounds on both breakfast and dinner menus. So leave your diets at home. We will certailnly be telling all our friends and returning.
