Ayrlington Hotel
A 5 star Hotel built of golden Bath stone, the award winning Ayrlington is a handsome listed Victorian house set in a splendid Award winning walled Oriental garden with exceptional views of the City and its medieval Abbey. Bath's magnificent historic sites, speciality shops and excellent restaurants are all just a five minutes level stroll away.
The Hotel's elegant and tranquil interior is a graceful blend of English and Asian antiques, artwork, fine fabrics and Egyptian cotton bedlinen. The Ayrlington has recently been extended and refurbished throughout - all fourteen bedrooms have an individual theme and are beautifully furnished, some with four poster beds.

Privately owned and managed by Simon and Mee Ling Roper the emphasis is on creating an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. The Hotel has a residents' bar, secure private parking and is entirely non smoking. We do not accept children under 14 years of age.

The Ayrlington's ongoing commitment to quality has brought some well deserved and hard earned awards. Already AA Premier Collection the AA have also awarded The Ayrlington five stars, Visit Britain have awarded the Ayrlington a five star Gold award, and South West Tourism presented the hotel with A Chairman's Award for Excellence. The Ayrlington also features in the 2006 Good Hotel Guide and is a multiple winner of the Bath in Bloom competition in the hotel garden category.

The Hotel also boasts an extensive collection of South East Asian antiques, which are on loan from Lopburi Art and Antiques - a gallery run by the hotel proprietors Simon and Mee Ling Roper.
