We have just returned from a weekend staying in the Stables Lodge and we have to say it has been one of the most chilled weekends we have had! The Stables is very well equiped and the photos on the website do not do it justice as it is lovely. The lounge is very spacious which was great for our toddler and four year old to play in along with the nice garden. The lodge was spotless and like all other guests the starter pack was great and saved us nipping to the shop. We had attended a wedding at the Cruin which is about a 10 minute walk from the Lodge. The Cruin is a lovely venue and food is brilliant if you are looking for somewhere to dine with nice scenery. I would just recommend asking for directions to the Cruin as it is a country path if you are walking. We went on a short boat trip to Inchmirrin Island for lunch as they have a nice restuarant. We found the details in one of the information folders in the lodge and really enjoyed this little venture, which l am sure would

We stayed in Lomond Castle apartment for two nights when attending a wedding at the Cruin. The apartment was beautiful and was a home from home with everything you could possibly need. There was a lovely starter pack, which made us feel really welcome. The view from the living room and master bedroom was simply stunning - it was so relaxing to just sit and enjoy the view over loch Lomond. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Lomond Castle Lodge.
